You've booked a session with us but you have so many question! That's alright, we got you covered! As we've done this a few times over, we decided to include this little guide which will cover what you should expect from us, what we expect from you and our most common frequently asked questions! If you feel that anything is missing, feel free to let us know the day of our session!
You will receive a reminder email 3 days before the date of your session. It also serves as a reminder to complete the payment by following the instructions. We asked that payment in full is received before the day of the session. If there's any concerns with payment, simply call or email us!
The time has come. You've pampered yourself, picked out nice outfits for the kiddos and you're wondering if you're missing anything? Keep reading, we got you!
Ok, we had fun taking pictures but now - what's next? We take all the pictures and put all of our finishing touches on them. 2-4 weeks after the day of the session, you will receive a link to an online gallery where you can view your picture and choose the ones that you want (full galleries can also be purchased). Once that's done, our system will email you a custom PIN and unlock the gallery download options.
The gallery link expires after 30 days. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you download your pictures within that time and that you store them in a safe place, like an external or cloud drive. We keep pictures for a period of 2 years and during that time, if you need access to them again there's a fee of $50.
Part of every client contract includes a model release so that we can use some of the pictures we take in social media posts of marketing campaign. We respect that some individuals would prefer not to, and that's fine - Just let us know!

What if something happens and I need to cancel?

Life happens, we get it! We will do our best to reschedule! We will carry forward the deposit to the new date. All we ask is for as much notice as possible!
Mother nature always has the opportunity to interfere with our plans! If the weather forecast looks bad for the date of our session, we will be in touch the day before to offer to reschedule. Your deposit will be transfer over to the new date.
That's entirely up to you but we do have some recommendations!
Coordinate color - Choose colors that complement each other, rather than wearing matching outfits. For example, pick a color scheme and have everyone wear different shades of those colors. Not saying that there's anything wrong with cute matching onesies or specific themes, go ahead and own it!
Consider the location - Think about the setting where the pictures will be taken. If it's outdoors, avoid wearing green or brown, as you may blend in with the background.
Avoid logos and busy patterns - They can be distracting and take away from the overall look of the photo.
Pay attention to the little details - Accessories like jewelry or scarves can add a nice touch to your outfits, but be sure not to overdo it! We love your beautiful smiles, but dislike the requests to photoshop your dental retainer out of the pictures. We don't feel it takes away from the pictures, but we understand that it might make some clients self-conscious!
Absolutely! We are very pet friendly! All we ask is that you let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly!
We usually have a 2-4 weeks turnaround for pictures, depending on the season. If you need pictures for a specific date, be sure to let us know how we can accommodate!
After the pictures are taken and processed through magical workflows, a link will be sent to you by email to an online gallery with your pictures. Depending on the session that you booked, you will have a certain number to select from. For those of you that find it too difficult to choose, you can also purchase the full gallery!
That's a good one! The most important thing about newborn sessions is comfort. You want baby to be fed and happy before we begin. If there's siblings around, it's always best to have them in a separate play area when we work with baby, just to keep things calm.
If you want to use special props and outfits, we just ask for everything to be ready at the time of the session!
