Annual Fun with This Crew!
Every November, I get the chance to update the yearly photos for this wonderful family, and it’s always a blast! These little cuties make me earn every shot—they hide, they run, and they dodge the camera like it’s a dentist's chair. But honestly? I love it. I’ll chase them through the trees, play endless rounds of tag, and even throw in a few silly faces (and yes, there’s always a fart joke or two—because what kid can resist that?).
I never expect kids to sit still and smile, especially when they don’t yet grasp the true value of these moments we’re capturing. It’s in those moments of pure chaos that the real magic happens—sticky fingers pulling at leaves, wild hair flying in the wind, the burst of laughter when they manage to outsmart me (temporarily). These are the memories that show the full spectrum of childhood: messy, loud, full of joy.
Years from now, when they’re older and flipping through these photos, I hope they’ll be reminded of how it felt to be carefree, of the adventures they had together, and the love that surrounded them. They’ll see more than just photos; they’ll see a glimpse of their childhood, captured as it was, wild and wonderful.
So bring on the playful energy, the giggles, and the sprints in the opposite direction! I’ll be right there, camera ready, and chasing every smile, every laugh, and every moment of joy.
